GM Financial Statement - New Accounts

General Motors has added 3 accounts the liability side of the Balance Sheet. This change required a programming change in the GM Financial Statement Transfer Program.

If you are using any of these new accounts you will need to update to version 11.02.03 or higher before transmitting your statement.

GM Financial Statement

The GM Financial Statement has been updated for 2011. If you have the GM Statement, download version 11.02.01 or higher before transmitting your January Statement.

Updates for the week of January 28th

We added a new export function to the vehicle inventory for Dealer Car Search.

We also have added the ability to restrict the insurance expiration report in PI notes by account numbers.

2011 Accounting and Payroll Updates

The accounting and payroll updates for 2011 have been posted to the website. Before you do your first payroll in 2011 make sure you are running version 11.01.01 or higher.

Vehicle Repairs.

We have increased the number of vehicle repairs that can be done to a vehicle from 50 to 200. Not really sure why anyone would do 200 repairs to a vehicle but this system will now allow you to track upto 200 different line items.

Changes to Sales Data Export.

We have added a export of sales and inventory data for First Look.

We have also changed the default location that the sales export files are generated to. Instead of being sent to C:\ the are now sent to the my documents folder.

SI Notes Metro II

Posted a fixed to the finance professional software. Metro II update for SI Notes had a bug that was placing the total of payments made in the the paid month to date field. This has been corrected.
